Freedom Conference in the Making

US Army defenders of the Constitution Pictures, Images and Photos

I received this email & wanted to spread the word. If you live in the Pittsburgh area, you may find this interesting.

Hey Everyone,
You've all been hearing about our plans for the G-20 Summit, and now the time has come for you to get involved! We are going to be hosting an organizational picnic up at North Park on Sunday, August 16 at 4:00 PM. We will be at
Pearce Grove, located near the boat house. (It is #91 on the map, in section F-3.) There will be burgers, hot dogs, and soft drinks, and we encourage you to bring something to share if you can. Please bring your friends, your family, and your questions!

This will be an opportunity to learn more about why we are staging the
Freedom Conference and the impact we hope to make. Our group is assembled with participants from the 9.12 Project, Campaign for Liberty, Pittsburgh Tea Party, Republican Assembly, and Veterans and Patriots United who are determined to show that the grassroots does make a difference.

We have created a Meetup site to keep you updated with the latest news at www.meetup.com/freedomconference.

For those not familiar with G-20, a simple description would be to imagine all the things that you fear are happening in this nation and then picture them happening on a global scale. Bigger bureaucracy, more taxation, less accountability, all in the name of the public good.
We won't let them get away with this without putting the truth out there to be heard.

This is why we need you to help us, whether it be by volunteering to help, or simply to attend the Conference and share what you learn with others.

We will have tickets available at the discounted rate of $25, which will include access to the group presentations as well as the main event. This is going to be a high-quality event, and we want your suggestions about how we can make it even better. We will share more about our speakers and our program on the 16th as we're still working to secure some highly regarded names.

We also plan on having a 50/50 raffle to raise money to help us pay for some of the initial costs involved with staging this event. Someone will win big, and everyone will win through their support.

We are doing everything we can to make sure this is successful, but we need your help in making this happen. Help us succeed, let others know about what is happening
(http://www.freedomconference2009.com/) and keep doing what you are. For those who have been trying and working so hard to make sure the nation knows that what is happening is not acceptable, lend your voice to ours.

Thanks,

Freedom Conference 2009 Planning Committee
