H.B. 1913 A.K.A Hate Crime Law

After researching the H.B. 1913 petition, I am deeply disturbed. The H.B. 1913 will soon be known as the Hate Crime Law. Congress makes this petition sound so sympathetic, however they have sugar coated it.

Did you know that once this new law is signed by President Obama that many innocent Americans will be affected. Take for instance the pastor of your church. He very well may be violating the law every Sunday morning at mass. How you may ask? During sermons, the pastor preaches the truth of the Bible. Others, like talk radio hosts Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh & Sean Hannity could be convicted for just voicing their opinion. This sounds like dovetailing with the Fairness Doctrine & violation to the right to free speech. Wasn’t the right to free speech written somewhere? Oh yes, The Bill of Rights, The First Amendment. Hmmm.
Our Founding Fathers must be turning over in their graves right about now. They fought so incredibly hard to make this such a great county. We are country with such a majestic & bold flag. What is this country turning into? There is a wonderful bumper sticker that says “These colors don’t run.” No, but it seems like they are changing like the hyper color shirts back in the 90’s.

This legislation is designed for only two purposes: to further the gay/transgender agenda and to silence anyone who opposes this radical agenda.

Help A Soldier

I received an email from a very good friend & felt the need to share with you.

This website may better help you to understand the mental condition of Sgt. Nick Horner. He was arrested earlier this month after killing two people in Altoona, PA. A first hand account from his wife, Windy, describing his long battle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of serving three tours in Iraq and their struggle to recieve proper treatment from the Army. http://www.helphorner.com/

Please forward this email if you feel that the military should be doing more in properly diagnosing and treating PTSD in our brave soldiers returning from combat. Please keep in your thoughts and prayers all those left suffering as a result of this tragedy.

Thank you,

Arrogant CNN Reporter

After the cameras quit rolling, Founding bloggers kept theirs rolling. I just love this woman at the end. She stood firm & did not back down.

Tea Party Slogans

I was unfortunate to attend the Tea Party in my area, so I watched Hannity last night. There was a great turn out in Atlanta. Lots of signs expressing how America feels about our government. The slogans on the signs were great. I want to know what was your favorite one?

April 15th Tea Party

I was unable to attend the Tea Party in my area. I did have to work (only to give the majority of my earnings back). I would love to hear how they went in any area. Please leave a comment on this site, email me some pictures or send me a tweet.

Who's Accountable?

Last Saturday morning three police officers were shot & killed. This was marked as a very tragic day in the city of Pittsburgh.

Richard Poplawski, 23-year-old, killed three police officers, evidently out of fear that his guns were going to be taken away. He was a supremacist who frequented one of the most popular neo-Nazi websites and harbored great anger for the federal government. Hearing some of these details, the young man was very disturbed.

According to a criminal complaint, Poplawski's mother called police shortly after 7 a.m., saying she wanted her son out of the house "because he was giving her a hard time." She said she had awakened and confronted him after discovering that a dog had urinated on the floor, and the two had argued.

Police then responded to the house for a domestic call. The over all outcome, three police killed & two injured.

I raise these questions.

1. Why did the police not know that he had guns in the home?
Did the dispatcher not do her job or do the the dispatchers need additional training?

2. Why didn't the mother press the issue that her son had weapons in the home? She had to of known that he had the guns. I think that she is at fault.

3. Did the police have bullet proof jackets on?
Shouldn't they be trained to prepare for the worst? You never know what you are going to get into in domestic disturbances. People have obtained guns without having the guns legally registered.

4. Why didn't the mother get her son psychiatric help? It is obvious that that her son was disturbed.

5. Where is dad? Just because your son is grown, doesn't mean you stop being a parent.

In addition to Poplawski, do you think any one else is also accountable? I want to hear from you.

HR 1388-GIVE Act Passes in the House

Volunteer or else

What is the HR 1388-GIVE Act? I have been doing some searching on this bill. It stands for Generations Invigorating Volunteerism & Education Act. In a nutshell, the “GIVE” act, would require the US government to develop a plan to implement a “mandatory service requirement for all able young people”.

Voluntary
according to Webster means: proceeding from the will or from one's own choice or consent, having power of free choice, acting or done of one's own free will without valuable consideration or legal obligation.

When I was young I volunteered as a volunteer at a local hospital. Nobody made me do it. It was my choice. It gave my an opportunity to get a feel for the hospital environment. It was during this time I was deciding on Nursing as a career.

We live in a country that is free. We have the ability to make choices. If my kids want to volunteer, well then that is their choice. Who is the government to tell my children that they MUST do volunteer work.

Once again the America has taken another step towards socialism. Maybe even Communism? Does this not violate our Constitution? You decide.
