Healthcare Bill Passes

This country has lost it's mind. I thought that the elected officials were to represent their constituents. It was proven this weekend when they passed this trash bill, called the Healthcare Bill. Let the lawsuits begin. Virginia is expected to file suit.

Not My Dog

I just love this. This was an email that I received & just had to share.

My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. She has her food prepared for her. She can eat whenever she wants, 24/7/365. Her meals are provided at no cost to her. She visits the Dr. once a year for her checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this she pays nothing, and nothing is required of her. She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than she needs, but she is not required to do any upkeep. If she makes a mess, someone else cleans it up. She has her choice of luxurious places to sleep. She receives these accommodations absolutely free. She is living like a queen, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of her costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day. I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head, Holy S#!t, my dog is a democrat!

President To Address All Students

As I listened to the radio this morning, I found out that a historical day will occur on Sept. 8, 2009. President Obama will address all students, Pre K-12, across this nation. He is the first American president to speak to students. Obama will address the importance of education.

Do you really think that any child in a Pre K program is really going to understand what he will be saying? I have a 3rd & 5th grader & I don't perceive them paying attention, even if we were Liberals.

I smell a indoctrination agenda here. Go to http://www.ed.gov/admins/lead/academic/bts.html & see for your self. After you read the letter to principles, be sure to read the classroom activities planned in a PDF or MS Word file for the different age groups.

I plan on asking the school if they plan on carrying out this hideous agenda. If so then I am wrestling with the idea of taking them out early, or request that they do not participate.

H.B. 1913 A.K.A Hate Crime Law

After researching the H.B. 1913 petition, I am deeply disturbed. The H.B. 1913 will soon be known as the Hate Crime Law. Congress makes this petition sound so sympathetic, however they have sugar coated it.

Did you know that once this new law is signed by President Obama that many innocent Americans will be affected. Take for instance the pastor of your church. He very well may be violating the law every Sunday morning at mass. How you may ask? During sermons, the pastor preaches the truth of the Bible. Others, like talk radio hosts Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh & Sean Hannity could be convicted for just voicing their opinion. This sounds like dovetailing with the Fairness Doctrine & violation to the right to free speech. Wasn’t the right to free speech written somewhere? Oh yes, The Bill of Rights, The First Amendment. Hmmm.

Our Founding Fathers must be turning over in their graves right about now. They fought so incredibly hard to make this such a great county. We are country with such a majestic & bold flag. What is this country turning into? There is a wonderful bumper sticker that says “These colors don’t run.” No, but it seems like they are changing like the hyper color shirts back in the 90’s.

This legislation is designed for only two purposes: to further the gay/transgender agenda and to silence anyone who opposes this radical agenda.

The Bitter Maureen Dowd

I read an article today that Ms. Dowd wrote about the Governor of Alsaka, Sarah Palin. She tries to tear the Governor down by commenting she is "...an underqualified candidate in go-go boots."

She goes on stating that she has a thin resume & lacks on foreign policy. I found a website that has a side by side comparison of Sarah Palin to Obama & let me tell you this women's resume is pretty impressive. What people don't realize is that she is the a Governor that boarders two foreign countries, Canada & Russia.


"But that crazy maverick and gambler McCain does it, and conservatives and evangelicals rally around him in admiration of his refreshingly cynical choice of Sarah, an evangelical Protestant and anti-abortion crusader who became a hero when she decided to have her baby, who has Down syndrome...." I say cheers to Sarah & Todd for their decision not to abort. God has a plan for everyone & this loving family was blessed to a Child with Down's.

Ms. Dowd continues, with "Palinistas, as they are called, love Sarah's spunky, relentlessly quirky "Northern Exposure" story from being a Miss Alaska runner-up, and winning Miss Congeniality, to being mayor and hockey mom in Wasilla, a rural Alaskan town of 6,715, to being governor for two years to being the first woman ever to run on a national Republican ticket. (Why do men only pick women as running mates when they need a Hail Mary pass? It's a little insulting.)" Do I sense a bite of jealousy? What can I say the Governor has a personality. And what is wrong with being a hockey mom, or a soccer mom? It is part of the traditional American Family. But Ms. Dowd doesn't have a family.

"Sarah is a zealot, but she's a fun zealot. She has a beehive and sexy shoes, and the day she's named she goes shopping with McCain in Ohio for a cheerleader outfit for her daughter. " as Dowd continues to criticize. So what is wrong with buying her daughter a cheerleading outfit? She was helping to stimulate the economy in Ohio. And are you making fun of all the cheerleaders & their parents out there?

..." the two-year governor of an oversized igloo becomes commander in chief after the president-elect chokes on a pretzel on day one." Tell the people of Alasaka that they live in oversized igloos. I'm sure that they would really appreciate it.

She concludes her article with, "The movie ends with the former beauty queen shaking out her pinned-up hair, taking off her glasses, slipping on ruby red peep-toe platform heels that reveal a pink French-style pedicure, and facing down Vladimir Putin in an island in the Bering Strait. Putting away her breast pump, she points her rifle and informs him frostily that she has some expertise in Russia because it's close to Alaska. "Back off, Commie dude," she says. "I'm a much better shot than Cheney."

Then she takes off in her seaplane and lands on the White House lawn, near the new ice fishing hole and hockey rink. The "First Dude," as she calls the hunky Eskimo in the East Wing, waits on his snowmobile with the kids -- Track (named after high school track meets), Bristol (after Bristol Bay where they did commercial fishing), Willow (after a community in Alaska), Piper (just a cool name) and Trig (Norse for "strength").
"The PTA is great preparation for dealing with the KGB," President Palin murmurs to Todd, as they kiss in the final scene while she changes Trig's diaper. "Now that Georgia's safe, how 'bout I cook you up some caribou hot dogs and moose stew for dinner, babe?"
